Variable Data Printing (VDP or VIP - Variable Information Printing) is the ON-DEMAND way to make every piece personalized.
VDP allows the text, graphics and images of a single printing to vary from document to document. Changes are database driven. The possibilities are endless.
Ideal uses: pre-filled response cards, employee benefit statements, customized quarterly reports, targeted marketing, personalized ad sheets, in-house employee tailored newsletters... imagine!

The first is a simple PERSONALIZATION. For example: send a letter to 2,000 people, each with its own greeting (Dear Janet Doe, instead of Dear Valued Customer).
The second level of VDP involves different VERSIONS. For example, an investment firm handles three types of investments: real-estate, retirement and mutual funds. Instead of sending out a monthly newsletter with information that will interest only 1/3 of the customer base, VDP allows you to create 3 different versions of the newsletter that cater to the three different types of investors on the mailing list. (Instead of Bob, Sue and Dave all getting the same newsletter, Bob receives one on real-estate, Sue's letter is about retirement, and Dave's addresses mutual funds).
The third form of VDP is COMPLETE VARIABILITY. This form allows each recipient to get distinct images, text and illustrations drawn from the unique content of different databases.
You want each employee to get a report of his or her 401K plan, showing the changes in their investment since its inception? VDP makes this very specific reporting possible, even including color graphs of the data.
